Shayla Milliner
Director
Shayla Milliner is a Director at Aletheian Labs, with nearly two decades of experience in digital forensics and investigations involving electronic evidence.
Shayla's work often starts with raw, disorganized data. Her work involves getting that data into a usable state and making sense of it once it's there. She has conducted hundreds of forensic examinations across computers, mobile devices, servers, and cloud environments where the volume of data is high and the facts are still developing.
She has worked on cases involving trade secret disputes, data exfiltration, data destruction, and the handling of confidential information. These are often dynamic investigations that require adjusting the approach as new information surfaces.
Before joining Aletheian Labs, Shayla was a Consulting Director at Palo Alto Networks' Unit 42 and previously held multiple roles at Stroz Friedberg, where she focused on forensic investigations and large-scale eDiscovery efforts. Earlier in her career, she worked in litigation support roles within law firms, which shapes how she approaches forensic work in a legal setting.
